Chief Product Officer, Lead Designer, Creative Director, Photographer, Product Development Consultant, Research/Business Statistics, Visual Design.
I am a chief product officer / lead designer with a foundation in luxury eyewear and an ambition to expand into garments, accessories, and anything else the fashion world has to offer. My work blends research, craft, and cultural storytelling—shaped by my academic background in creativity psychology and refined through years of hands-on experience designing at the highest levels of the fashion industry.
I studied Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where my research in perception neuroscience and creativity led to a published study, “The Nature of Creativity” (2016). This work gave me a deep understanding of how people process and respond to visual information and what variables make up the construct of creativity as we know it. It also grounded my design practice in analysis and evidence-based thinking, skills I continue to apply when researching trends, selecting materials, and developing products that resonate on both an aesthetic and emotional level.
I began my professional career at Matsuda, a heritage Japanese fashion house, where I learned product design (and everything else about luxury eyewear) directly from master craftspeople in Sabae, Japan. As the sole product and marketing manager for all three global divisions of the brand, I oversaw the entire product development lifecycle: from trend research and concept sketches to spec sheets, technical drawings, prototype review, and final delivery. I also created systems and tools to streamline production, such as building databases and custom compliance scripts that saved hundreds of hours of work each season. Alongside this technical work, I collaborated directly with the creative director and CEO to ensure design and storytelling aligned. Highlights include the “Gothic Nouveau” collection—intricate metal eyewear inspired by gothic architecture, paired with a surreal cathedral façade campaign installation—and “Exercices de Composition”, an evergreen campaign staged like a gallery exercise in composition.
I carried this expertise forward as Chief Product Officer and Lead Designer at J. Goldin Eyewear, where I designed the brand’s entire inaugural collection—from mood boards and tech packs to sourcing Italian manufacturers and overseeing final production. Beyond the collection itself, I acted as creative director and lead designer for the brand identity, packaging, style guide, catalogs, and all other creative content. I personally shot and retouched the product line and served as lead photographer and creative director for the launch campaign, “City of Muses,” which introduced J. Goldin to the world by celebrating Atlanta’s artist community.
Throughout my career, I’ve focused on turning ideas into products that merge fine art sensibilities with technical precision. Eyewear has been my foundation, but my vision expands further: I am now bringing the same rigor, craftsmanship, and creativity into fashion, garments, and accessories, continuing my pursuit of design that is both innovative and enduring.
